Delicious Taco Spaghetti Casserole

This Taco Spaghetti Casserole is a delicious and easy weeknight meal that your whole family will love! It combines the flavors of tacos and spaghetti into one comforting dish.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
  • 8 ounces spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes and green chilies. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the meat sauce and cooked spaghetti.
  5. Pour the spaghetti mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with your favorite taco toppings.

Notes

For a spicier casserole, use hot taco seasoning or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the meat sauce. You can also add other vegetables, such as onions, bell peppers, or corn, to the meat sauce.
