These Nutella macarons are a delightful treat for any occasion. They feature a crisp shell with a soft, chewy interior and a rich Nutella filling.

Ingredients

  • 120g powdered sugar
  • 60g egg whites, aged
  • 30g granulated sugar
  • Nutella for filling

Instructions

  1. Sift together almond flour and powdered sugar.
  2. Whisk egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add granulated sugar and continue whisking until stiff, glossy peaks form.
  3. Gently fold dry ingredients into the meringue.
  4. Pipe batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  5. Let macarons rest for 30-60 minutes, or until a skin forms.
  6. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Let cool completely before filling with Nutella.

Notes

For best results, age your egg whites for 24-48 hours in the refrigerator. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
