Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (full fat or low fat)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each into a ball.
  5. Poke a hole through the center of each dough ball with your finger and gently stretch to form a bagel shape.
  6. Place the shaped bagels onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or seasoning if using.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding garlic powder or cinnamon and sugar before baking, or serve toasted with cream cheese and fresh fruit.
