Easy Pizza Calzones

This recipe shows you how to make delicious and easy pizza calzones in just 5 simple steps!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Divide pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 6-inch circle.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, and sausage.
  4. Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on one half of each dough circle. Top with cheese mixture.
  5. Fold dough over filling and seal edges by crimping with a fork. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
