Dreamy White Garlic Pizza Sauce Introduction

This white garlic pizza sauce is a creamy, flavorful alternative to traditional tomato sauce. It’s perfect for homemade pizzas and adds a touch of elegance to your meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  2. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth.
  3. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until thickened.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and oregano. Cook for 1 minute more, or until cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using on pizza.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use whole milk instead of low-fat milk. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
