This refreshing Cucumber Vinegar Salad is a simple and delicious side dish, perfect for hot summer days. Thinly sliced cucumbers are tossed in a tangy vinegar dressing for a light and flavorful bite.

  • 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the white vinegar, sugar, water, salt, and pepper. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the thinly sliced cucumbers to the bowl.
  3. Gently toss to coat the cucumbers with the vinegar mixture.
  4. If using, stir in the chopped fresh dill.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled.
