  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • Graham crackers, apple slices, or vanilla wafers, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the brown sugar and beat until well combined and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Fold in the toasted chopped pecans, reserving a small amount for topping.
