  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon peanut butter or other nut butter
  • Optional: Chocolate shavings or chopped nuts for topping

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and break them into chunks.
  2. Place the banana chunks in a food processor or blender.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla extract (and peanut butter, if using).
  4. Blend until completely smooth and creamy. You may need to scrape down the sides of the blender occasionally.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish or individual bowls.
  6. Optional: Top with chocolate shavings or chopped nuts.
  7. Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or freeze for 30-60 minutes for a firmer consistency.

Notes
