Condensed Milk Pecan Pie

A perfectly baked Condensed Milk Pecan Pie

A rich, gooey, and undeniably delicious pecan pie made with sweetened condensed milk for an extra creamy texture and intense flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon or dark rum (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate and crimp the edges.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, salt, and optional bourbon or dark rum until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped pecans, ensuring even distribution.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. The center may still jiggle slightly but will firm up as it cools.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.

Notes

For an extra-crisp crust, consider blind baking it before adding the filling. Toasting the pecans before mixing enhances their nutty flavor.
