  • 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water (105-115°F)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Gently fold in the chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 12-18 hours.
  5. After the dough has risen, gently turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Shape it into a round.
  6. Place the dough on a piece of parchment paper.
  7. Cover loosely and let rest for 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
  9. Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven from the oven and place the dough (with parchment paper) inside.
  10. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove the lid and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  12. Let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
