Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Garlic Bread Subs

A decadent and delicious twist on a classic sub, combining creamy chicken alfredo with crispy garlic bread. Perfect for indulgent comfort food lovers!

  • 4 (6-8 inch) sub rolls
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breasts, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, fresh parsley, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Slice the sub rolls in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides.
  3. Place the garlic-buttered rolls on a baking sheet and broil for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the shredded or diced cooked chicken with the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated.
  5. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture evenly into the toasted garlic bread rolls.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the chicken Alfredo filling.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Garnish with extra fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes. Freezing is not recommended.
