Cheesy Bowtie Pasta with Ground Beef Delight

  • 1 pound bowtie pasta
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.
  5. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until thickened.
  6. Stir in the salt, pepper, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, provolone cheese, parmesan cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Drain the pasta and add it to the cheese sauce.
  8. Stir to coat.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

For an even cheesier dish, top with extra cheese before serving! You can also add cooked vegetables or protein to the pasta for a complete meal.
