  • 1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade if preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and brush lightly with melted butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the mixture and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading evenly.
  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the edges are set and the center jiggles slightly.
  8. Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing.
  9. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

Notes
